Scripture Verse
KJV: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
Reflection
There are days when the weight of life feels like too much — responsibilities, fears, disappointments, and silent battles that nobody sees. We try to hold it all together, thinking we have to be strong for everyone else. But the truth is, we were never meant to carry it all alone.
Jesus doesn’t ask us to have it all figured out. He simply says, “Come to me.” In that moment of surrender, we exchange our burdens for His peace. Rest is not found in escape, but in trusting the One who holds everything together — even when we feel like falling apart.
When life feels heavy, pause and breathe. You don’t have to fix everything today. God is carrying what you cannot, and He never grows weary.
Short Prayer
Lord, when my heart feels heavy and my strength runs low, remind me that I can come to You. Teach me to lay my worries at Your feet and find peace in Your presence. Carry me through the moments I cannot stand on my own. Amen.
Reflection Question
What burden have you been trying to carry on your own that you need to hand over to God today?
